Fowey Hall Hotel - Spa Bedrooms
Phase two of the Fowey Hall Hotel project includes nineteen new bedrooms over the Garden Wing and five bedrooms located over the existing spa building with uninterrupted views out to sea and across the Fowey estuary. Our scope included concept design through to implementation for the spa bedrooms, the application of the bedroom concept across the Garden Wing and design of several new public areas including the outdoor pool area and lounges.

Our response to the location and new build architecture is understated luxury with a modern, crafted approach to furniture and detailing. The material palette is consciously quiet to allow the view to be the main focus of the rooms. We created warmth and calm using lighting and a natural earthy palette of materials which mixes different textures with warmer accents of brass and burnt orange upholstery.
The bathrooms continue the story with a bespoke live edge elm vanity unit, generous walk in showers and a skylight positioned over the bath to link inside and outside and create a connection with the landscape. Brass fittings add a luxurious touch to contrast with the natural pared back palette.
We worked with crafts people and designers to help bring to life our vision, mixing contemporary bespoke pieces with comfortable vintage chairs and artwork by local artists.
